Bamboo Ferrules

There are only a handful of rod makers in the world who produce the bamboo ferrule.

This really is a super method to joint a fly rod.

It is very important that the joint is made
correctly and requires extremely accurate working measurements to ensure a perfect fit.

This integrated ferrule system has the following advantages:

1) Because the ferrule is hexagon shaped the rod cannot twist out of allignment.
2) It is far stronger than any nickel silver or brass ferrule jointing system.
3) Very low weight.
4) Flexible joint.
5) You will never have to worry about alligning the guides when you assemble the rod anymore.

Hexagon female ferrule.

The bamboo female section is covered in a clear wrap. The end of the male ferrule is impregnated to prevent moisture entering the bamboo fibre wall.
